Can't believe it is already Wednesday. The last 4 days have been a whirlwind. On Friday my oldest son came back from his trip to Grandma's and had to pack up to return to college. Let's just say that Mom was the only one stressed about getting things rounded up. Saturday I held a card buffet for a great group of stampers and Sunday was move out/move in day for my son. We were planning to send him off on his own but there was just too much stuff and too little car! My husband and I ended up making the trip too. Thank goodness we only had a 3 hour drive each way.
Today I rushed to make a card to participate in the challenge at Create with Connie and Mary (CCMC215). I like starting with a card layout. It is a little easier to get your creative juices flowing. Without further ado, here is the card I made this morning.
Stampin' Supplies:
Stamp Set: You're Amazing
Paper: Midnight Muse, Lucky Limeade, Rich Razzleberry, Comfort Cafe DSP
Ink: Midnight Muse, Rich Razzleberry, Lucky Limeade
Accessories: Lattice embossing folder, Vintage Trinkets
Ahhh, very cute! Love the little elephant for the focal element. Great colors, too!
ReplyDeleteCute card. Love the elephant accenting the greeting. Card doesn't look rushed at all. Great texture. Thanks for playing the Create with Connie & Mary Challenge this week!
ReplyDeleteYour card turned out great and I think it is perfect for a college aged boy - those are often the hardest cards to make. I have two boys in college - one is about an hour away and the other is living at home. My oldest one spent the summer in California (we live in Georgia) so that was not easy for me that he was so far away. Good luck to your son. Thanks for joining the Create with Connie & Mary challenge this week.
